Pandemic Pod Instruction

For families in need of K- 6

educational support

during Covid-19

Parents * I know you have a lot on your mind, so I'll keep it simple!

THE BASICS

  • Pandemic Pods are formed by families looking to support and/or supplement their child's education while schools are closed to in-person instruction.

  • Pods consist of an instructor and 2 – 6 students from the same school and/or area.

  • Pods meet at a Host’s Home, preferably outside.

  • Pods are grouped by grade. Single grade Pods or a combination of different grades are possible. (Ie: Gr. 3 + 4; Gr. 5 + 6).

  • Pods can meet 1- 5 times/week (morning or afternoon), depending upon student/parent needs.

  • Precautions are taken to ensure Pod participants can work safely in light of the current public health situation. This includes temperature checks upon drop-off, mask wearing, social distancing, and hand washing.

  • Families considering Pandemic Pods may inquire about a free Zoom consultation here.
